Cultivating Skills, Building the Future

(SDG 4 – Quality Education)

Officine Zoppelletto promotes education and training both within the organization, for the benefit of its employees, and externally, through the active involvement of students, recognizing them as strategic levers for ensuring the continuity of skills and strengthening the bond with the local area.
The company considers training an essential element for the continuous updating of skills and invests in the professional growth of its employees through training programmes dedicated to the various company areas, particularly the administrative, production and sales departments. This commitment takes shape through training programmes supported both by internal investments and by participation in regional and national funding calls, with the aim of strengthening both technical and transversal skills within the organization.
At the same time, Officine Zoppelletto encourages strong interaction with younger generations, promoting guidance initiatives and opportunities for entering the world of work. These include work-orientation pathways in collaboration with local technical high schools, university internships and summer job programmes. In addition, the company is developing a Bending Academy programme, aimed at transmitting and developing specialized technical skills.
In this way, the company contributes to creating a concrete link between the education system and the professional world, fostering sustainable growth in the long term. This approach not only supports the development of future skills but also promotes an industrial culture in the metalworking district of North-East Italy, preserving and enhancing sector-specific technical know-how.

Energy efficiency & Reduced impact

(SDG 7 – Affordable and Clean Energy; SDG 13 – Climate Action)

Within Officine Zoppelletto’s production context, the topic of energy is addressed through an approach focused on the conscious management of consumption and the progressive improvement of energy efficiency.
The company is strengthening its energy management by increasing the share of energy from renewable sources, upgrading infrastructure and systems, and continuously reviewing the filtration systems of cutting machinery, with the aim of containing emissions and dispersion and improving the overall efficiency of processes.
These activities are accompanied by the ordinary environmental sustainability practices adopted within the company, aimed at a more careful management of resources and of the impacts of the production process.
Overall, these actions represent a first step toward a more sustainable production model, capable of combining industrial performance with environmental responsibility.

People at the Centre

(SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth)

For Officine Zoppelletto, contributing to this goal translates into sustainable economic growth, understood not only as an economic result, but also as the ability to create qualified employment, promoting the development of technical skills and stimulating career paths.
This commitment includes the measures implemented to strengthen workplace safety, through careful identification, management and monitoring of risks. In addition, the company offers various welfare measures, supports employees’ families, and is committed to redistributing part of the value produced among its employees through a company reward system.
A further distinctive element is the attention paid to the quality of internal relations and to the creation of a peaceful working environment, based on collaboration, mutual respect and trust. This approach helps promote organizational well-being and strengthen the sense of belonging.
Added to these aspects is the company’s commitment to workplace inclusion, which reinforces the idea of work as a space for growth, integration and stability.

Innovation between Precision and Modernity

(SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)

In recent years, Officine Zoppelletto has developed a structured innovation path involving three main areas: production, technology and identity.
In the production area, the investments made over the last five years have helped strengthen the efficiency and precision of the company system. The introduction of the laser cutting machine in 2021, the Bevel head cutting machine in 2023 and the large LVD bending system in 2024 are concrete examples of this evolutionary path.
On the technological level, the company has begun a progressive digital transition involving both information systems and the production department, accompanied by cybersecurity oversight in compliance with NIS II standards and by investments aimed at business continuity.
This path also includes the strengthening of the corporate identity, which, through the recent rebranding, enhances the continuity between tradition and innovation, accompanying the entry of the third generation and helping to consolidate the company’s positioning, today recognized among the top 100 companies in the Vicenza area.
Finally, the diversification of the sectors in which the company operates — from energy to construction and transport — represents a strategic lever for balance, which over time supports the stability and resilience of the business model.

Creating Opportunities

(SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities)

The company’s contribution to this goal emerges above all in initiatives that foster inclusion and social support.

Officine Zoppelletto promotes workplace inclusion pathways also in collaboration with the social cooperative “Pari Passo”, which have enabled the training and integration of several operators within the company. This experience strengthens the role of work as a tool for integration, participation and personal growth.

In addition, the company is committed to supporting local associations through financial aid, expressing concrete attention to specific social needs and to organizations that work in support of the most vulnerable people, including support for the elderly and for organizations involved in cystic fibrosis research.

Through these initiatives, Officine Zoppelletto contributes to strengthening the bond with the local community and to promoting more favourable conditions for support and social participation. In this sense, the company’s commitment does not end with production activity alone but extends to the desire to generate a positive impact also on a social level.

Solid Roots

(SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals)

The relationship with the local area represents a central component of Officine Zoppelletto’s social identity.

Among the most recent cultural collaborations, the event held at Palazzo Cordellina, in the historic centre of Vicenza, stands out. For this event, the company co-designed — together with several design students from IUAV and Polytechnic of Milan — and donated a customized project in support of a cultural initiative dedicated to music. The realization of this project activated collaboration with various local stakeholders, including universities, public bodies and cultural associations.

In addition, among the initiatives with the longest tradition, there is the one launched in 1975, the year from which the company has hosted in its own spaces one of the oldest fairs in the Vicenza area, created more than fifty years ago and still today strongly linked to the figure of the founder, Gino Zoppelletto, as well as to an active community that ensures its continuity over time.

Alongside these initiatives, the company maintains a constant presence in the local area through financial support for various local sports associations.

These are different initiatives, but they are united by the same attention to community life. Through these activities, the company makes resources and spaces available, contributing to the creation of relationships that nourish the social vitality of the context in which it operates.

A “Concrete” Responsibility

(SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production)

For Officine Zoppelletto, this goal is directly connected to the raw material processed and to the management of the production process. The company has always operated in the field of steel processing, a highly recyclable material because it can be remelted and reintroduced into the production cycle.

From this perspective, attention to processing scraps, the responsible management of non-conformities and process efficiency takes on central value. Responsible production translates into the enhancement of a durable and recoverable material, the reduction of waste and the continuous improvement of the process, in line with the company payoff “Steel Quality” and with a more conscious use of resources.
