Un Progetto Condiviso
From 13 to 28 June, Palazzo Cordellina (Vicenza) will host a project that brings together house music, vinyl culture and spatial design. An experience shaped by the joint contribution of different players from the local area and the creative world, brought together to create a place where listening, vision and contemporary presence meet.
The initiative is promoted by Éora Collective, a group of young people from Vicenza who develop events capable of combining music, culture and social interaction, with the aim of enhancing places across the city through new forms of contemporary use.
The partners involved include Biblioteca Civica Bertoliana, the City of Vicenza, Icona Arredamenti, Garzadori Cicchetti e Selzati, Officine Zoppelletto, Okra Magazine, Vittoria Assicurazioni Krochmal and Banca delle Terre Venete BCC.
Officine Zoppelletto’s Contribution
As part of this shared project, Officine Zoppelletto is contributing through the creation of two self-supporting steel furnishing elements, designed to combine function and design identity.
The first is intended to hold and organize the vinyl records; the second is designed to house the DJ station, complete with console, turntables and technical accessories.
Both pieces have been developed to fit into a lounge setting dedicated to listening, with particular attention to capacity, ergonomics, stability and ease of use.
From Concept to Development
The project was conceived and developed by two product design students from Politecnico di Milano and IUAV University of Venice, both members of the collective organizing the exhibition.
Officine Zoppelletto is accompanying this work through its production phase, translating the concept into two concrete, functional elements fully aligned with the context of the event. A transition from vision to material, in which the project gains substance, function and presence.
A Space Designed for Listening
The initiative is part of a wider path within Palazzo Cordellina, which includes an exhibition section dedicated to house music and the role of clubbing in Vicenza, followed by an immersive listening room designed for talks and guided listening sessions.
Within this setting, the pieces created by Officine Zoppelletto help define a space in which furnishing, function and atmosphere become part of the same experience.
The installation is completed by furnishings supplied by Icona Arredamenti and the audio system by Sonus Faber, in order to offer a listening experience that is as immersive and high-quality as possible.
Material, Function, Vision
This collaboration once again confirms Officine Zoppelletto’s desire to bring its know-how beyond the boundaries of industrial production, by taking part in initiatives capable of enhancing materials, space and people through concrete, versatile solutions designed to last.
