Metal Structures for the New Morandi Bridge – Genoa

The new Morandi Bridge in Genoa, officially named Ponte San Giorgio, is a symbol of rebirth and innovation for the city of Genoa and for Italy as a whole. Built following the tragic collapse of the old bridge in 2018, the new bridge is a work of modern engineering that reflects the unity and determination of the Italian people.

The New Morandi Bridge Project

Designed by architect Renzo Piano, Ponte San Giorgio is approximately 1,067 metres long and crosses the Polcevera river with a structure that combines elegance and strength. This project was intended not only to restore a vital traffic artery, but also to establish a new benchmark in infrastructure safety and technology.

The Produced Structures

Our company took part in the construction of the new Morandi Bridge in 2019, contributing key steel structures essential to its realization. Our structures were designed and manufactured with precision to guarantee maximum strength and durability, indispensable requirements for infrastructure of such importance.
